HOW ARE YOU ALL
I hope you all are doing good... This week I tried to take a random topic to write on... Although it might not be in the arena of this blog's description, it is a general topic that everyone can relate to... As we can all read above, the title of this post is 5 laws of love, I would really like to draw your kind attention to a quote that is maybe the best quote that we can hold on to in our life...
There is no greater calling on the Earth than to love and be loved... Anything other than that isn't really living...
Really, we really need love in this world and believe me, nothing, I repeat, nothing, can't benefit us more than love in this world. This reminds me of a Mother Teresa quote which says,
The most valuable thing that we can adhere to in our life to be happy, is nothing else but love because at the end of this life, looking back, anything which is actually going to matter to us, are our relationships. These could be our relationship with our friends, relationships with our father, relationships with our mother, relationships with our spouses or maybe even our relationship with our precious things.
The actual thing that continuously keeps us all driving throughout our life and keeps us hopeful for better, is love. Love is our Past, Present, and Our Future...
Today, let's talk about the most adorable and necessary thing in this world... LOVE...
1. Love needs COMMITMENT
Anytime you find the world love in the Holy Bible, Commitment is always rooted in it. Love can't exist without commitment in our life. In fact, I would really like to quote it,
We as humans, require love the most in the very time when we are the least lovable. And the people, who give us that love and support in that tough time, are the only people who are actually committed to us.
If we constantly and unbiasedly introspect ourselves, we find out that we really commit to some people in our life. We also find out it is not only us but some other persons have also been committed to ourselves. When we try to list the true causes of their commitment, Love certainly tops the list.
2. Love makes you do SACRIFICES SELFLESSLY
When we love someone, eventually, it is always gonna bring us to a place in our life when we selflessly sacrifice. In this selfish world, we tend to look at people as commodities which are to be used and thrown. We hardly do anything which is not selfish...
But when it comes to loving people, it must be known that true love always makes you able to sacrifice selflessly, in a way that you never have done before for anyone else in your life. Just remember the time, when your parents didn't eat anything but gave you everything whatever you desired to eat or the time when your parents didn't buy new clothes but let you buy every fancy dress you wanted. This isn't actually about parents, but it's about everyone who loves.
A quote that I would like to mention here is that,
Anything in our life which actually makes you lesser self-centered and narrow, is Love.
Also as written in the bible,
Greater love is no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.
3. Love needs HONESTY
Without honesty, love can't originate in a relationship. Only the truthfulness of a lover to his loved one can act like water and sunlight for the plant of love to feed on. In every relationship, without the foundation of truth, there is not gonna be a solid relationship. As many of us experience in our life when we are in love,
An honest answer actually feels like kiss on the lips...
I also specifically wanna tell you, that in loving someone, we actually come across some moments when telling the harsh truth hurts more than telling a caressing lie. But, may I assure you that that telling the harsh truth is going to be the best thing to do.
4. Love wins above FEAR
Have you watched the star-wars? If yes, you must know Yoda. What Yoda has said once is worth remembering...
Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
You might be wondering why I have put this Yoda-quote here. As the heading goes, we must all be assured that love always conquers fear. Even if we are in the darkest and the loneliest moment in our life, it is certain that our love will always outperform fear. This ultimately means that we will have lesser suffering.
5. Love requires GRACE
Love and Grace both, go parallelly throughout the life of an individual. This principle might be the most important and very hard to follow when we have ever loved someone.
There, where we shall love, we shall have the courage to gracefully forgive someone...I can simply guarantee you that whenever you love someone, you will once or more times in your life will absolve them for the wrong deed they ever did. Even if that deed might be very hurtful to you, you will find the strength and spirit to forgive that person.
